Tire Revolution: The Future of Recycling is here!

End-of-life or used tires are a growing global and huge problem. Landfilling and burning waste tires damages land resources and contributes to harmful emissions. Many conventional recycling methods are also energy-intensive and deliver low-value outputs.

3R Technology is developing an ozone-based tire recycling process designed to convert used tires into high-purity recycled rubber for industrial applications. We are currently at TRL 5 and moving toward pilot-scale deployment and industrial integration.

Join us in our mission to revolutionize tire recycling and make a positive impact on the environment.

Discover how our technology can benefit your business and the planet.

Most “tire recycling” today is either brute-force mechanics (shredding/grinding) or high-heat processing (pyrolysis). Both tend to be energy-hungry, equipment-intensive, and noisy—often producing mixed, contaminated outputs that are hard to push back into high-value manufacturing.

3R Technology is building a different path—designed for the circular economy.

We treat whole end-of-life tires using ozone-enriched gas to release rubber from steel wire and textile reinforcements—without shredding or cutting—and then apply devulcanization to convert the recovered tire rubber into a high-purity reclaimed compound. The result is a valuable raw material stream that can be reintegrated into new products instead of being downcycled or burned for low-value energy.

By avoiding the most energy-intensive mechanical steps, our approach is designed to cut electricity consumption by up to 75% compared to traditional tire recycling routes—while reducing waste, complexity, and material losses.

Join us in rewriting the rules of tire recycling—so used tires stop being a cost and start becoming a high-value feedstock again.
